Many people travel abroad to know and learn from other cultures. But, do they really achieve this goal? Are they really experiencing another culture, or do they just get a glimpse of commercial folklore? Are they really understanding the social and cultural reality of the place they are visiting, or just visiting tourist-trap places, where they see what tourists are supposed to see? Are they experiencing this foreign everyday life, or just a cliché of how it's supposed to be?

To cross-cultural-travel is to expand the experience of a touristic trip by navigating through cultural and social realities, open and curious to authentic experiences of different ways to sense the world, think and act. The traveler is in search of reflection, understanding and growth.
